SRVV Crispi SAHARA EVO Boots

Crispi_Sahara_SRVV_00

After more then over a year of excessive testing and using, I can finally sum up my thoughts and “longterm” test of the Crispi SAHARA EVO SRVV edition Boots, which are widely used and preferred by some of the Russian special forces like FSB, MVD and special police units like OMSN (formerly known as SOBR).

Blokpost Gorka (2006)

Here we go again! Another Gorka review – this time I have a Blokpost Gorka from 2006 for you guys. This particular Blokpost Gorka is somewhat special – it belonged to a member of ROSN Yekaterinburg, Russia!  ROSN is a department of FSB (former KGB). These soldiers respond to situations involving certain types of violent criminals and terrorists. Besides that, it is just a regular Blokpost Gorka from the year 2006 and it has the typical washed out and used look (which I personally dig a lot).

SSO Gorka E (Костюм CCO ГОРКА-Е)

Since in Europe/ Germany it is quite difficult to get your hands on a Gorka E, it took me a while to finally get one myself. I bought this particular one second hand on http://www.red-alliance.net from a guy from Croatia (Puno hvala!). As I already reviewed and wrote about the Gorka-1, also known as Soviet Gorka. I recommend you to read this review first, to get to know the origins of the Gorka Suit itself and the main difference to its modernized and perfected descendant.

Kondor Gorka-1 (Soviet Gorka) советский горка

This Gorka-1 from Kondor (кондор) resembles the original Soviet Gorka, which was used during the Afghan War in the 80’s. Today it is still used by modern Russian Special Forces because of its comfortable fit and robustness.

Gorka means “Hill” or “Mountain” and exactly for that matter this 100% Cotton Suit is meant for. Since the Afghani Desert has hot day and freezing cold nighttime conditions, the need of an all around rugged Suit was obvious. Not to forget that the manufacturing cost are really low for a Gorka!

Maskhalat KZM (Leto + yellow Berezka)

Today I have 2 pretty cool and affordable Russians suits for you. To be exact 2 “Maskhalat KZM suits”. – One in “Leto” and one in “yellow Berezka” camouflage. Maskhalat suits are no ordinary standard camouflage uniform. Those are meant to be worn over the regular field uniform. They are sometimes wrongly considered as “Russian sports suits” on a known online auction house and on some Russian themed forums. The Fabric used is some kind of parachute fabric, since it is draft proof and quite tear proof – not to forget extremely lightweight. …read the whole review
