Everybody who is a russian military/speznas enthusiast, like we are, got a Telnyashka. But did you know that there are different colored ones? And that every Color has its own affiliation to a Military/Special Forces Group?
Here we go again! Another Gorka review – this time I have a Blokpost Gorka from 2006 for you guys. This particular Blokpost Gorka is somewhat special – it belonged to a member of ROSN Yekaterinburg, Russia! ROSN is a department of FSB (former KGB). These soldiers respond to situations involving certain types of violent criminals and terrorists. Besides that, it is just a regular Blokpost Gorka from the year 2006 and it has the typical washed out and used look (which I personally dig a lot).
The PK-01V (ПК-01V) is another red dot sight from Belarus made by BelOMO (БелОМО). It is a modern, mil-spec, light scope simple in design and construction used by both military and police forces. Due to its relatively cheap price but good performance it also enjoys great popularity on the civil market. It is particularly reliable and sturdy like most Belorussian sights.
This review is about the Primus OmniFuel, which is considered to be one of the best go to stoves, if not the best. It is manufactured by Primus in Sweden and also used in military service (in a slight variation though). I used this stove for the past 5 years now and have therefore some experience to share.
Since in Europe/ Germany it is quite difficult to get your hands on a Gorka E, it took me a while to finally get one myself. I bought this particular one second hand on http://www.red-alliance.net from a guy from Croatia (Puno hvala!). As I already reviewed and wrote about the Gorka-1, also known as Soviet Gorka. I recommend you to read this review first, to get to know the origins of the Gorka Suit itself and the main difference to its modernized and perfected descendant.
